Consumer Testing Project Manager

Role: Consumer Testing Project Manager
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Gloucestershire
Working hours: Full time, weekdays
Reports to: Consumer Testing Project Manager
Salary: £22-32,000 per annum, plus benefits

Main duties and responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
* Co-ordinate the activities of the consumer testing "benchmarking" team
* Management of sampling sessions, data collection and communication of results
* Writing and delivering reports, suggesting improvements, and evaluating market positioning
* Support the consumer testing manager in provision of training courses, presentations and business development activities
* Training and development of the Home Economists, Sensory Technicians and Administrative team.

Key Skills and Qualifications
* Very strong background in the food industry, possessing 5 or more years experience in a manufacturing or catering setting
* Extensive knowledge on food, ingredients, processing and markets
* Degree or equivalent qualifications in related subject
* Minimum of Basic Food hygiene certificate
* Excellent managerial skills, ability to motivate and develop the team to achieve efficient delivery of objectives to deadlines
* Communication skills to work with colleagues at all levels along with external clients and prospective clients
* able to give authoritative guidance/advice to others
