CONSULTANT MICROBIOLOGIST/INFECTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL DOCTOR IN ENVIRONMENTAL MICROBIOLOGY
HOURS: 3 SESSIONS PER WEEK

An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Microbiologist/Infection Prevention and Control Doctor in Environmental Microbiology to work as a member of the Infection Prevention and Control Team in the delivery of the planned programme for water safety and decontamination across NHS Fife. You will provide specialist knowledge and training in all aspects of water safety and decontamination. A broad range of clinical experience is desirable, with significant clinical practice

You may be required to travel between NHS Fife sites and the Health and Social Care Partnership. One of the main qualities for this post is the ability to work as part of a team in a challenging health care setting. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential. You should also be able to demonstrate continuing professional development and evidence of post registration qualification / study.

You must have full registration with the General Medical Council and should be on or within 6 months of being on the GMC Specialist Register at date of interview.
