BRADFORD TEACHING HOSPITALS NHS FOUNDATION TRUSTCONSULTANT IN HISTOPATHOLOGY
Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Histopathology at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a replacement post.
The post holder will join a team of 10 other Consultants in Bradford providing a comprehensive Histopathology service to the Trust. The Histopathology service is sub-specialised and whilst there can be a degree of flexibility in accommodating special interests, the successful applicant will be required to contribute to the general histopathology work of the department. The post carries a significant commitment to the upper gastrointestinal pathology team but also includes a commitment to the gynaecological pathology team. The successful applicant will also support the general work of the Department in non-gynaecological cytopathology. There is no cervical cytology requirement. An opportunity to take part in the Coronial post mortem service is available but is not required.
Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides acute services for the City of Bradford and surrounding areas, and has two large Hospitals; Bradford Royal Infirmary and St. Luke’s Hospital. All main specialties are represented in Bradford, and the Trust has a base of 1107 beds.
