Consultant Clinical Oncology Head and Neck Cancer

Are you an experienced Consultant with a genuine interest in joining the Queen Alexandra Hospital’s thriving Head and Neck practice?

Due to recent investment at the Portsmouth Oncology Centre, applications are welcome for a Consultant Clinical Oncologist, specialising in Head and Neck Cancer.

Portsmouth Cancer Centre also provides cancer services to West Sussex (Chichester) and the Isle of Wight. We are a friendly and integrated Centre embracing enhanced roles, and actively encouraging research and innovation.

This is a 10 PA post, but applicants wishing to work less than full time are most welcome to discuss their requirements, and a second sub-speciality interest will be accommodated in a full time post.

As an experienced Consultant Clinical Oncologist you will ideally have:

  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice
  • Entry on the GMC specialist register via CCT (proposed date must be within 6 months), CESR or European Community Rights
  • Higher professional training in Clinical Oncology
  • Evidence of a clinical or research fellowship
