They are seeking an experienced purchasing manager / construction buyer to purchase and make available materials, works and services for the building projects in the most effective way on time, budget and quality.
Result to be achieved: Construction teams receive full support with supplies/services required to execute their activities in line with agreed timescales, quality and budgets
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for ensuring that the materials required for construction projects are provided to schedule and according to projected budgets. They have a vital part to play in helping ensure the quality and profitability of contracts since they are responsible for ensuring that the most suitable and cost-effective materials are purchased and delivered to sites.
Supplier management Identify a wide range of suppliers that will create good access to all goods
and services required for the business and ensuring improvement on price,
quality, safety and delivery times.
Projects Supplies Obtaining goods and services to support all running projects
Head Office Supplies Obtaining goods and services to support effective office operations
Database Maintenance Keep and update an accessible library of Materials and Contractors.
