Configuration Manager

Our client has a vacancy for a Configuration Manager to manage a team of configuration technicians. The main purpose of the role is to ensure that whatever the solution, the configuration team execute to the highest of standards. Working closely with the project teams you will anticipate workflow and align your people resources to meet the demand of future projects.

Requirements

  • Experience of supervising a small technical team

  • Experience of carrying out 1:1 and supporting with appraisals

  • Experience of coaching and training on technical subjects

  • Attention to detail, whilst working under pressure

  • Organisational skills

  • Ability to work on your own initiative

  • Trouble shooting and fault finding

  • Holding and chairing meetings

  • Quality systems

  • Workflow systems

  • Ability to form good working relationships

    Skills

  • Proficient in IT applications within a technical environment which must include EPoS, Wireless, Camera, HHT’s, IT equipment and Payment Devises

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Able to plan and prioritise high volumes

  • Self-motivated

  • Ability to work alone and in a team

  • Confident

  • Good social skills

  • IT Literate
