Senior Compliance Officer | Maidstone, Kent

What’s in it for you?
  • ?? Salary: £32,500 - £35,000 + monthly bonus (up to £6,000 OTE per year)
  • ? Hours: 9am – 5pm with some flexibility
  • ?? Location: Office-based in Maidstone (with potential for hybrid working)
  • ?? Parking: Limited on-site or scenic walk from nearby Moat Park #
  • �? Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays, rising each year up to 28 days

?? Your key responsibilities
  • Investigate incidents and complaints, log them accurately, and lead the follow-up with corrective action plans
  • Collaborate with departments to spot patterns and drive process improvements
  • Act as a key escalation point for risk and compliance matters
  • Handle data protection and Subject Access Requests
  • Support internal audits and uphold regulatory standards like ISO 9001 and FCA authorisation
  • Regularly produce and present clear, actionable reports
? About you You might come from compliance, project management, auditing or a risk background. You’ll be someone who:
  • Thinks analytically and solves problems on the spot
  • Communicates well with a variety of stakeholders
  • Enjoys investigating issues and building improvement plans
  • Ideally has 2–5 years’ experience in a relevant or transferable role
  • Bonus if you’ve worked in debt collection or financial services, but it’s not essential
