JOB DESCRIPTION

Cream Soda Recruitment are searching on behalf of our client for a Compliance Technician to join a very well established Insurance Brokers who are based across the UK to join their London Office. This role might suit a law graduate or someone currently working in a compliance department.

Reporting directly to the Compliance Officers - The Compliance Technician will be fundamental to the consistent smooth operation of the Company Group. The role is designed to provide support to both the existing client and their market partner, therefore it would require by definition knowledge of both companies’ systems and procedures.

Compliance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Provide support on staff training programme
  • Management of all client/broker/insurer agencies including summary reports
  • Review and action all Terms of Business queries
  • Maintain the Binding Authority catalogue
  • Manage Corporate Compliance Calendar, inc. all team meetings
  • Maintain and update complaints log
  • Assist with AR compliance oversight
  • Assist with all Third-Party audits
  • Ad hoc support for Compliance Officer
  • Liaise with FCA to maintain standing data and records relating to the authorization of the Group
  • Maintain country files
  • Maintain trading partner PI records & forms
  • Maintain Global trading partner admin
  • Assist in maintaining risk register
  • Manage Corporate Compliance Calendar
  • Assist in policy distribution to all staff
  • IT support for low-level matters
  • Maintain Terms of Business records
  • Security Committee Secretary
  • Maintain sanctions records & FinScan sanction screening
  • Maintain and update complaints log
