Due to continued growth we are currently looking to add to our Team; specifically looking for commercially focused & strategically aligned Compliance Officer who can drive further successes across our growing business.

This role will be paying £20,000 - £25,000 plus Monthly Bonus.

Job Purpose and Context
The Compliance Officer has responsibility for contacting candidates to assist them to complete the MSI Group registration process. It involves meeting candidates face to face and gaining and checking their documentation, applying for references, organising training, understanding immunisation reports and verifying information supplied.
Areas of Responsibility

  • Provide support, guidance and expertise to all candidates to ensure a seamless process
  • Ensure accuracy and currency of records, both paper and electronic systems and all databases
  • Organising and booking training courses (online and practical)
  • General administration duties including emailing, filing and scanning
  • Ensure the company database is update accurately
  • Completing and verifying background checks e.g. references, qualifications, criminal records, etc

  • Provide best practice Compliance support via telephone, email and face-to-face to all stakeholders
  • Provide expert guidance and direction for team members
  • Commit to meeting personal objectives to support the business to meet it's business targets

Operations and Project Planning

  • Take individual responsibility for agreed objectives, targets and KPIs
  • Organise own time and resources effectively and use initiative

Working with Candidates and Clients

  • Represent MSI in a professional manner to both candidates and clients, including potential clients.
  • Report any complaints received to your manger from candidates, clients or any other external or internal contacts

Developing, Maintaining Systems and Procedures

  • Liaise effectively with external suppliers to deliver excellent service
  • Utilise and interrogate data to monitor progress towards individual objectives
  • Contribute to wider data collection and analysis exercises across the department
  • Effectively use database and suite of MSOffice products to keep records current, complete and accurate
  • Complete regular data cleaning exercises and manage candidate pipelines
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, data protection guidelines and corporate policy

People Management and Development

  • Act as a source of knowledge and expertise to colleagues
  • Champion business improvement and new initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the department and organisation

Accountable For
The Compliance officer is accountable for:

  • Managing the end to end Compliance Process
  • Ensuring all candidate checks are complete so that candidates are compliant
  • Organising and booking training courses (online and practical)
