Our client operates within the professional services sector and has a full time, permanent vacancy for a Compliance Officer to join their team.

The role will provide support and assistance to the Partners and Practice Management in the monitoring and continuous improvement of compliance.

Key Duties include:

Ensure the firm is compliant with all regulatory requirements by:

  • Drafting developing and implementing firm-wide compliance policies and procedures

  • Providing risk and compliance training firm-wide

  • Responding to compliance queries and providing advice firm-wide

  • Assisting in claims and complaints handling, maintaining registers and providing advice on mitigating associated risks

Skills Required:

  • Sound knowledge and experience of working in Compliance within a regulated sector, ideally legal

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Accurate

  • Effective communication skills

  • Able to work on own initiative

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Able to work under pressure to set deadlines
