Our client is seeking a Trainee Compliance Assistant to join their team in Darwen. Your role will be to oversee all the Compliance within the business.

Role / Responsibilities:

  • Assist in dealing with complaints

  • Complete desk top reviews as and when required

  • Assist in the file review process

  • Assist in the referencing process of all new entrants to our client

  • Develop and maintain valuable relationships

  • Contribute to the overall success of the business by developing opportunities to enhance the business.

  • Support all Compliance Officers to complete their role including meeting venues, hotel rooms etc.

    Person Specification:

  • Possess a good educational background with good IT literacy and navigational skills and proven ability in exams

  • Flexible attitude, good team player with a sense of humour

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A high level of self motivation

  • Effective time management and planning skills

  • Professional telephone manner

    Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Flexible approach

  • Team Player

  • Excellent customer focus

  • Good time management

  • IF7 qualified or willing to work towards the qualification

  • A working knowledge of how to operate Word, Excel and Email

  • Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal
