Compliance Analyst

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and dedicated Compliance Officer, this is on a part time basis. You will be required in a legal role consisting of drafting, reviewing, approving and distributing contractual documentation as required by Landmark Information and its group companies; as well as providing advice and guidance to ensure appropriate implementation of legal and regulatory requirements.

The role requires interaction with all departments and employees, including external legal counsel, external customers and suppliers. You will work with the Senior Compliance officer in the creation of all contractual documentation including customer and supplier contracts, confidentiality agreements, as well as liaising directly customer and suppliers to agree terms. In addition you will have some responsibility for other aspects of compliance including business practice, policies and procedures.

About You

To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you are competent in applying law, drafting agreements and being able to advise on internal customers based on relevant laws and regulations. You will need to have previous experience in a similar role. Being qualified as a solicitor, legal advisor, paralegal or similar is highly desirable, though not essential. It is highly desirable for the successful applicant to hold a relevant qualification in a law or technical related subject, ideally at degree level or above.

You will need to be proficient in MS office with the capability to construct prose professionally and comprehensively. Excellent communication skills are required along with the willingness to go the extra mile to deliver excellence and good customer service.
