Company Accountant

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional? We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Company Accountant to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for overseeing the organisation’s daily financial operations. This role ensures strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and compliance with all relevant regulations, while also supporting broader business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business, maintaining accuracy and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.
• Provide detailed payroll information to the external payroll bureau, including calculations for holiday entitlement, overtime, and sickness.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to deliver insights into business performance.
• Review and enhance financial accounting practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Liaise with external accountants to support the preparation of statutory accounts.
• Support HR activities, including holiday tracking, contract preparation, and onboarding of new employees.
