We are a rural Health Board with 133,000 people living across an area that is a quarter of Wales. With no District General Hospital we provide as many services as possible locally through GP provision, Community Services, Community Hospitals and Clinics.
Community nursing in North Powys provides community and in reach services working in partnership with Reablement, Physios, Occupational Therapists and Social Care staff to provide a flexible approach to meet the health and social care needs of the community. We are looking for Registered Nurses who would thrive in a truly community based service for North Powys.
The post holder’s will enhance their skills and professional portfolios working across the two community settings and will be supported by the clinical lead. Your personal development plan will be tailored to your individual need based on your experience and transferable skills

Our overall purpose is the delivery of safe, effective and dignified care, with nurses who recognise their personal responsibility and accountability for the delivery of evidenced based care through competence in decision making and the effective management of risk, to ensure the best outcomes for patients and clients
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
