SNC grade 3 £41,201 - £47,157.00 per annum

The Job:

You will manage our shared Safer Communities Team across Cherwell District and South Northamptonshire Councils, working in partnership with police forces, partners, and stakeholders in each area; to make our communities safe places to live and work. We are looking for an experienced, confident, performance driven, individual to manage the team of Safeguarding and Safer Communities staff; deal with antisocial behaviour; lead and administer two Community Safety Partnerships and manage our CCTV function, whilst offering support to colleagues responsible for emergency planning and business continuity.

The Person:

A skilled, highly motivated experienced manager who is able to manage our shared team, build and maintain relationships with a wide range of partners in community safety.

An excellent communicator with great interpersonal and communication skills.

A competent enforcer with good problem solving skills with knowledge of the law; particularly around antisocial behaviour.

A thorough knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, Prevent and the widest community cohesion agenda.

A focus on delivering great outcomes for residents, practically and innovatively.

Available out of hours and on a stand by rota as required.
