Are you passionate about providing outstanding services for patients and their families/carers? Do you have excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills? Do you value the benefits of collaborative working?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Memory Assessment Services for Older Adults as a Band 5 Community Psychiatric Nurse based at Stuart Road Clinic. The post is for 37.5 hours per week .

We would welcome an enthusiastic, positive and skilled member of staff to join our team and strive with us to continue to provide an excellent service for our patients and their families.

The ideal candidate will have experience, preferably working with Older Persons with memory impairment though this is not essential as further role specific training can be facilitated for the successful candidate. They will demonstrate good leadership qualities, good organisation/time management skills, have the ability to provide accurate reporting to the Operations manager and MDT, be able to work under pressure in challenging situations and to tight deadlines, whilst supporting the wider team.

The applicant must hold a valid driving licence and will be expected to travel, potentially countywide if the needs of the service dictate.

The candidate will be expected to proactively support the wider vision of the Older Persons directorate and is anticipated to work closely with partner organisations such as Primary care providers, NASS, Northamptonshire Carers and The Alzheimer’s society.

We value the continual improvement in our expertise. The ideal candidate will be motivated to continue with their professional development within the relevant areas and support will be provided to maximise progression.
