Prospectus are proud to be partnering with Newground Together (NGT), a registered Charity and a member of the Together Housing Group, working with communities across the North of England to build better futures together.

NGT support and empower communities in a variety of ways; supporting people in to job, training and volunteering opportunities, connecting with young people and families, creating memorable outdoor experiences and providing health and wellbeing activities. They are currently recruiting for a dynamic new Programme Manager to oversee their impactful Great Outdoors programmes, currently being delivered across Pennine Lancashire.

As Programme Manager for NGT's Great Outdoors programme, you will lead a dispersed service delivery team, ensuring that projects engage people in the local environment, ensuring that positive health and wellbeing and issues of sustainability, climate change or outdoor/environmental education are integrated across all areas of work. You will work to ensure high quality and cost-effective service delivery across all areas, managing your team's performance and overseeing the budget for the service, and will proactively work to develop and expand the programme's reach. You will also work closely with other teams across the organisation to ensure that the benefits of the Great Outdoors programme are promoted, and that participant take-up is encouraged.

To apply for this role, you will be a skilled Project Manager with experience of environmental and outdoor education, community development and health and wellbeing programmes in an outdoor setting (an NVQ Level 3 in sustainability, climate change or a relevant environment-related qualification is Essential). You will have demonstrable experience of managing and motivating staff, overseeing budgets, and working in partnership within the statutory, voluntary and private sectors.

Please initially apply with a word-formatted version of your CV - suitable candidates will then be contacted and will be asked to complete a supporting statement. Please note that the client is looking to interview on a rolling basis, so please apply as soon as possible.

As a specialist Recruitment Practice, we are committed to building inclusive and diverse organisations, and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
