An opportunity has arisen for a first level Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Mid Argyll Community Mental Health Team.

Candidates should have clinical expertise in mental health nursing attained through relevant experience and knowledge of current interventions. As a First Level Registered Mental Health Nurse you will be active in providing high quality nursing care, carrying out mental health assessments, providing person-centred recovery focused interventions and nursing therapies within a multidisciplinary team. You should be able to work in a creative way to provide care to people who use mental health services and have an understanding of the current policies and practices influencing mental health nursing.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Evidence of personal and professional development in delivering treatments and providing therapies is desirable.

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively in various work locations within Argyll & Bute, to meet the operational requirements of the service.
