We care passionately about planning positively for the sustainable growth of Rutland, and are looking to enhance our Planning Policy team to deliver our Local and Neighbourhood Plans. You will be joining the team at a crucial time in the delivery of our ambitious plans for growth, giving you the opportunity to further your knowledge and experience supporting development that will bring significant change to the County.

Position: Community Infrastructure and Planning Obligations Officer

Location: Rutland

Job type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week, undertake occasional evening and weekend meetings

Salary: £29,636 to £31,371 per annum

Who you are:

Enthusiastic and motivated, you will be a good communicator, able to bring clarity to complex information and be committed to delivering an excellent standard of customer care. Able to juggle multiple projects, you will have an eye for detail and be keen to make your mark.

What we need from you:

With knowledge of planning legislation, CIL regulations and Section 106 agreements, you will understand when monies need to be collected and how they can then be used to support further development. With experience of administering or developing systems to support these activities you know what’s needed to make this process efficient. Accurate in collating and presenting information, and with strong presentation and interpersonal skills, you will be able to engage with the community and other stakeholders.
