Touchstone (registered charity No. 1012053) is a leading voluntary sector agency providing high quality services to improve the health and wellbeing of local people.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new service, Mentally Healthy Leeds, which is aimed to improve public mental health in the city. The service is funded by Leeds City Council.
The Mentally Healthy Leeds service aim is to reduce mental health inequalities and improve the mental health and wellbeing of communities who are most at risk of poor mental health. The service will use asset-based community development approaches to improve protective factors and reduce risk factors associated with mental health and wellbeing.
Community Health Development Analyst - Data & Intelligence
Salary: Starting at £25,951 per annum/pro rata, NJC Scale SO1 SCP 29 - 31,
22.5 hours per week
Fixed term until 31 December 2018
You will gather intelligence and data, and review the local evidence-base to achieve a greater understanding and ownership of mental health issues facing communities and populations who are most at risk of poor mental health, and a greater understanding of effective interventions for these groups.
You will have experience of gathering and analysing primary and secondary data and using it to identify gaps and needs to inform improvements to services. Also presenting data and intelligence effectively, both verbally and through reports, charts and case studies.
This role would suit somebody who wished to gain experience of working in a dynamic third sector team, for example on secondment from their current employer.
