Community Fundraising Officer
The Great North Air Ambulance Service operates three helicopter air ambulances across the North-East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. The service is funded by public donations and needs to raise over £5m every year to maintain this life saving service in our region.
We’re looking to recruit a Community Fundraising Officer to continue in our work to ensure that The Great North Air Ambulance is at the heart of local communities, inspiring action across the regions in which we operate.
Our Community Fundraising Officers support charity activity across the North of England and in addition have specific objectives to develop one of two geographic areas in this region.
Main Purpose of Job:
The Public Liaison Department have high aspirations of increasing community visibility and collected income over the coming years and this role will be pivotal to enable this amazing charity to carry on its essential work. This position will help innovatively manage and develop the charity’s fundraising and awareness raising activities within the North of England, support new and long-term supporters, facilitate volunteer activity and provide the marketing and stewardship of organisational campaigns at a local level.
