My client is seeking a Senior Administrator to support their Community Engagement team.

This is a temporary role due to start at the end of March 2018, and continue for 9 months.

You will be working 37 hours a week, approx 8.30am - 4.30pm every day, but will be required to be flexible.


- Deal with all incoming enquiries via the general inbox
- Manage the CRM system 
- Diarise events and send out calendar invites
- Create reports on marketing activity
- Produce documents, spreadsheets, briefing papers, presentations
- Maintain client database 
- Maintain events database
- Take minutes at meetings and type up notes
- Organise travel / hotels / catering  / parking for team 
Procurement / Purchasing:
- Order all stock / merchandise for events
- Maintain inventory of materials
- Process all invoices
- Keep budgetary records updated
- Manage equipment levels for events 
- Handle all courier arrangements and manage transport of goods to events / roadshows
Customer Service / Liaison: 
- Answer all incoming telephone enquiries
- Communicate new information to internal staff, clients etc
- Attend events / roadshows (must be flexible on evening / weekend working although this is ad hoc)
- Attend open days 
- Manage one temporary member of staff daily
- Manage temporary members of staff at events

This is a highly varied role with lots of responsibility. 

You will need to be able to work independantly, take ownership of your work load, and communicate effectively between internal staff and clients. You will need to be confident representing the client at events and flexible with your working hours.

The successful candidate will also need:
- To be educated to Degree level or equivalent
- To have worked in a Senior level administration role (PA and/or event management would be beneficial)
- Line management experience would be preferable
- To have experience in writing reports / creating presentations / taking minutes
- To have experience supporting multiple people with their administration
- Ability to manipulate CRM systems with ease
- To have experience ordering stock / materials 
- To have experience organising transport and courier transport
