Why join us?

Who we are:

The business was set up by Ben Ruddle in March 2009, who after a poor experience with the available home care services for his 98 year-old grandfather, decided that he could help other people with similar problems. Ben came across Home Instead and decided to open a franchise in Swansea.

"Home Instead Senior Care are committed to making a difference. We regard it as a special privilege to look after people with love, care and compassion - and we take our responsibilities very seriously indeed. Our ethos is simple - treat others as we would wish to be treated ourselves. We tailor the care specifically to each client and take time to carefully match our caregivers to their shared common interests. We only employ the most caring, considerate and empathetic caregivers - people whom can make a difference to the lives of others. It is for this reason that we enjoy long-lasting relationships with our clients."

With the coronavirus situation evolving every day we are experiencing increased demand for our services and are recruiting extra CAREGivers to join our friendly and dedicated team.

What our CAREGivers say about us:

What attracted you to join us?

"I worked in a care home that specialised in nursing and dementia care, your job application made me look you up, I checked you on Facebook and the Care Inspectorate Wales website because I was a bit dubious about home care, but it was all good so I thought I'd give it a shot. The staff in the office is what made me think that you’re no ordinary company, everyone was fun and easy going and happy to be there, which is always a good sign! I like care because it’s like visiting friends. They are only strangers when you first meet someone and then it’s easy, their friends till' the end and every day is different!"

How have you found providing care at home during COVID 19?

"Working during the pandemic, I can't say has been any different than when I first started, and that’s a good thing, the support I have had from day one is there, despite working separately there is no lapse in communication, instructions are clear, and the help is there, equipment supply and guidance on usage is there and clear. The company is as much a team now as it was before."

You must hold a full UK licenseand have your own vehicle to be considered for this job role.

Due to ever changing circumstances we may not be able to respond to your applications as quickly as we would like, but we are truly grateful for your application at this time and will respond to you as soon as possible.
