Communications Officer

We are working alongside a cancer charity who urgently require a Communications Officer on a 3 month contract to join their team in their Central London offices.

This role is responsible for producing engaging and effective communications to support the organisation's strategic aims.

Key tasks in this post:
-Support on set communications and marketing projects.
-Producing digital content to effectively engage the organisation's online audience.
-Monitor success and response rates from digital, print and PR campaigns to improve future campaigns.
-Interview, write up and edit content around real life stories.
-Work with VIPs and charity stakeholders and external events.

Key criteria for applicants:
-Degree level educated or equivalent in relevant professional experience.
-Experience interviewing ambassadors and members of the public about sensitive issues.
-Experience of using traditional and innovative media and communication channels.
-Ability to work to tight deadlines and working independently or collaboratively.
-Experience working with journalists and figures in the public eye.
