Job Overview

  • Supporting the IT Business Change team to deliver IT Change, with a focus on Heathrow’s digital transformation

Principal Accountabilties ?

  • Support engagement activities and communications campaigns for the Heathrow IT Business Change team
  • Manage communications and marketing materials and support the team on identifying and distributing relevant materials for events and other engagement activities
  • Liaise with suppliers to create high quality materials
  • Manage internal websites and communication channels, writing and uploading copy and promoting new content
  • Coordinate events to include invitations, booking space, catering and managing set up
  • Create multimedia content for use in digital channels, to include videos
  • Monitor feedback channels and respond to queries
  • Proofreading copy
  • Support the team to ensure consistency of digital and print materials in line with agreed brand, style and tone of voice
  • Identity positive news stories relating to Heathrow’s digital transformation
  • Support with ad-hoc IT change projects as and when required
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Policies, taking personal responsibility for employing safe working practices to minimise risk to self, work colleagues and customers

Qualifications & Experience ?

Essential Experience and Knowledge

  • High attention to detail and consistency
  • Excellent writing skills. It is expected that the post-holder will have solid grammar, punctuation and accuracy
  • Ability to proofread materials
  • Ability to prioritise workload during busy periods and not be afraid to challenge 'the norm’
  • Organised and flexible
  • Experience using CMS systems / managing online content
  • Video and image editing skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with stakeholders across Heathrow
  • Willingness to develop and learn new skills
  • An interest in digital tools and new digital ways of working
  • Event management and organisation
  • A team player
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

Desirable Experience and Knowledge

  • Educated to graduate level or equivalent
