I am recruiting for an exciting temporary role for a local Communications/PR Company. This role is to cover maternity leave.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience and the skills to complete the following:

Business support

Produce documents using Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc, to a professional standard

Deal with telephone and other communication enquiries from clients, media, stakeholders and colleagues

Organise and co-ordinate public exhibitions, workshops and similar events including logistics, production of training materials including organising equipment and provide support to client events as necessary

Assist with the development of client marketing/promotional material or initiatives

Input and extract information from time management software to produce reports and ensure client reporting is timely and up to date

Perform routine office duties to including minutes, photocopying, scanning and generic emails

Support GDPR compliance

Communications

Support account managers and colleagues including providing briefings, research and report writing as required

Support account managers with client communication campaigns and strategies

Respond to media and public enquiries

Arrange client interviews with media outlets

Prepare and distribute press releases

Monitor and analyse public opinion on client and topical issues

Write, edit and produce newsletters, brochures, and other publications for clients

Support company and client social media

Essential

Excellent written, inter-personal and communication skills

Confident communicator, able to provide support for events and foster good team and client relationships

Strong project support experience and organisational skills

Experience with organising events

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters diplomatically and discreetly

Full Driving License

Desirable

Strong research and analytic skills

Personal

High level of self motivation and positive approach

Ability to work confidently under pressure and to deadlines

Happy to work outside core hours and away from home, when required

Confident, self-aware, empathetic, happy working in a small team

Reliable and committed
