Communication Support worker

Cordant People are recruiting for an experienced communication support worker, educated to a level 3 in BSL as a minimum to work in the Bolton area.

Working as a communication support worker in a professional capacity, you will be required to support students with hearing impairments and or who are profoundly deaf. You will be responsible for adapting learning material and resources to meet the learners needs. You will be required to display a positive attitude towards deaf people and show a great understanding of the deaf community.

A level 3 in British Sign Language is essential. Experience of working in the education sector is desirable.

Applicants must either have a valid DBS or be prepared to pay for a certificate to be requested.
