Our client, A well development electrician and Comms contractor is currently looking for a number of Comms Engineers to start work ASAP on a number of Crossrail stations due to an increase in their work programme.
The work is on Crossrail and you will be part of the final installation phase of this project - Playing your part in making London greater.
The requirements are spread across various stations spanning the whole of London, and will mainly be working on day shifts with the occasional weekends when required.
Duties for a Comms Engineer will include but limited to;
- Working with CAT 5/6, Copper, Fibre, Multi mode & single mode cables
- Terminating and testing - Fault diagnostics / repair
- Running of cables / Cable pulling / Recovery of cable
- Installing metal containment management systems
- 2nd fix wiring socket outlets, fire alarms, CCTV, PA systems
All roles whilst working for this contractor are to be paid PAYE via Randstad on a weekly basis, you will be entitled to a weekly bonus based on work ethic, attendance, health & safety.
Rates for this role would be a basic of £18.96 rising to £25.22 after 8 hours each day.
Previous Crossrail experience would be an advantage but not essential - To be considered for these roles you would need to hold;
- JIB Gold card ( or the equivalent )
- Manual Handling
- CBH Medical - Cross rail medical ( Can be arranged if not )
- Current CV
- 2 references from contractors
