At Babcock we're working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a committee secretary at our Clyde site.

The Role
As a committee secretary, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will support the nuclear safety committees through the undertaking of secretarial duties.

Day-to-day, you'll responsible for arranging committee meetings and taking comprehensive minutes from the meetings.

  • Ensure meeting is organised effectively
  • Produce documentation and ensure it's presented to the committee chair
  • Take detailed minutes from the meeting
  • Produce, manage and maintain document archives and associated databases
  • Provide general administrative support

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements

Experience required of the Committee Secretary

  • Prior experience of taking and producing minutes
  • Excellent MS Office skills

Qualifications for the Committee Secretary

  • GCSE Maths & English
