Set in 25 acres of glorious countryside, the Royal Agricultural University offers a stunning learning environment on a historic campus which is home to 1,200 undergraduate students. Our Cotswold campus has outstanding facilities, including excellent on-site catering.
You’ll be expected to assist the Head Chef, with the preparation of food for the University, including a variety of functions and events, in a professional, flexible and proactive manner. You will also be expected to provide great customer service, always ensuring that food is prepared to the highest quality agreed standards which also meets the customer’s needs and requests; from staff to students to guests.
With a good standard of education, you will have flourished in a similar environment and gained experience which you can apply to this role. If you have the Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, so much the better. You’ll take pride in a job well done and be prepared to work flexible hours. It is also important that you are physically able to lift and move objects up to 25kgs.
Your variable hours will include a mixture of early and late shifts and alternative weekend work on a 35 hour week, averaged over two weeks.
