Commercial Sales Account Executive
9am - 5.15pm
£24,000 - £27,000 basic + company bonus + pension scheme + 20 days holidays + development opportunities + friendly working environment

The Company
My client based on the outskirts of Leeds are an independent insurance brokers who are extremely customer-focused and have over 30 years of industry experience. They specialise in property, truck, fleet and personal insurance and offer their customers great quality insurance policies at high competitive prices alongside a top quality service. They are currently looking to appoint a Commercial Sales Account Executive into their small team, situated in a lovely modern office and friendly environment, your input in the daily running of the office will undoubtedly go unrecognised.

The Role:

  • Deal with phone calls and clients in the office relating to Personal Lines and Commercial Products
  • Quote commercial renewals. Ensure renewals are quoted accurately, the client is given all the required information
  • Chase up any renewals quoted, discuss the prices quoted to the client and try to match or beat any alternative quotes the client may have had to try and maximise renewal retention
  • Process renewals that come in through the post, directly in the office or over the phone
  • Complete the required paperwork and lapse off any policies that do not renew and ensure the renewal spread sheet is kept up to date
  • Ensure clear notes are put on Electra and the renewal spread sheet if the renewal has not been invited
  • Deal with own diaries on a daily basis and other team members as and when required
  • Provide quotations for Personal Lines and Commercial Products. Ensure quotes are accurate, the client is given all the required information
  • Discuss the prices quoted to the client and try to match or beat any alternative quotes the client may have had
  • Chase up any quotes that are not incepted to try and maximise the levels of new business
  • Record the client's details on Electra and complete the required paperwork for any policies that are incepted
  • Pro-actively look for ways to increase new business for Personal Lines & Commercial Products
  • Chase up any leads, contact previously lapsed or quoted clients. Actively chase renewal dates and cross sell household insurance for existing clients
  • Helping other teams as and when required to ensure the office runs effectively
