Commercial Property Surveyor
Part time General Practice Surveyor for Commercial Property in Skipton.
Your new company
The property and assets team of a local authority with a mixed portfolio comprising office, retail, leisure, heritage, rural and residential. This will be a stand alone commercial surveyor role with administrative support and working as part of the assets team. The job will be over 3 days a week on a permanent, salaried basis.
Your new role
You will manage an estate and carry out all general practice duties required within an estates management function. You will have responsibility for rent reviews, lease renewals, valuations and managing service charges. You will be responsible for transacting acquisitions and disposals, agreeing heads of terms for new projects, contract negotiation and the management of agents, consultants and liaising with solicitors, tenants and internal stakeholders. Part of the role will be to identify improvements in the asset management system, for recording property data and management of valuations and financial information with help from the property administration function.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an MRICS commercial surveyor, with experience of managing a portfolio and general practice duties. Ideally you will have experience within a similar role.
