Our client is one of the leading Kent law firms with a major influence in East Kent as a full service legal 500 Practice. They have a vacancy for an experienced Commercial Property lawyer with a minimum of three years recent relevant experience to join a busy team in the Ashford office.
Our client has a vacancy for a Commercial Property Solicitor with a minimum of three years recent relevant experience of working with a recognised regional or London law firm.
The role for a commercial property solicitor in this team will consist of dealing with a broad commercial property portfolio for an impressive client base and will involve a wide range of freehold and leasehold commercial property work including property management, property development, freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals and financing work. In addition, there will also be an opportunity to deal with corporate property work and business asset sales and acquisitions where the property is the major or primary asset of the business. Candidates with the skills to manage development site set up work (residential, commercial and social housing sites) would be of particular interest.
You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Department in dealing with a broad range of Commercial Property matters, including Landlord and Tenant, retail, hotels and Commercial offices together with some Agricultural work..
Attending as the Department's representative at various public events including speaking at seminars organised by the firm.
Generally supervising the work of the trainees within the Department from time to time.
