The Firm

A well-established full-service law firm are recruiting for two Commercial Property Solicitors to join their busy Commercial team in Derby to provide quality legal advice to commercial clients on a wide range of commercial property matters.

The Role

  • Efficient drafting, reviewing and negotiating of legal documents including commercial contracts including:
    • Freehold and leasehold transactions
    • Drafting and negotiating contracts relating to client’s matter
    • Preparing reports on file and researching when required
    • Communicating effectively with people of all levels including solicitors, clients and third parties


  • Good knowledge and experience of contracts and commercial law
  • Solicitor with 1-2 PQE and 3-5 PQE
  • Commercial contractual experience is essential
  • Professional and coherent communication skills, both written and orally
  • Team player who has ability to work collaboratively or equally independently
  • Proven ability to work in a pressurised environment
