Here at Northgate, everyone plays a part in what we do. And if you have a talent for managing commercial projects that help deliver growth, we could have a huge part for you to play, too. We’re opening a brand new commercial hub in Reading and we’ve got ambitious plans to grow even more.

As a Commercial Project Manager at Northgate you’ll be required to manage projects from cradle to grave, you’ll initiate, deliver and close projects according to timescales, quality and budget. The Project Manager will secure the appropriate resources and manage the internal project team & third-party contractors/suppliers in order to deliver projects in line with the Northgate strategy.

The projects will be primarily commercially focussed, but they’ll also be technology enabled and will run through a number of different departments business-wide. They’ll also be very commercially orientated so you’ll be working alongside Sales, Marketing, BI, Pricing and the Directors as well.

Because of the importance and seniority of the role we’ll need the successful candidate to have experience in a similar Commercial Project Manager role whereby you’ve worked across multiple departments, and have an understanding of recognised methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP or Agile. You’ll be extremely good at managing very senior stakeholders and delivering on time and to budget, you’ll also have excellent working knowledge of MS Project 2010 or a similar planning tool.

Northgate offer an extremely competitive base salary as well as 23 days holiday plus an extra 'birthday day’ as well as the opportunity to be part of our new commercial hub in Reading.
