Job description:

We have a newly established International Commercial Planning Manager role, focused on delivering strategies and objectives across our key international markets and categories. Mainly concentrating on cake, cooking sauces, and breakfast categories, you will have a significant part in understanding regional needs and developing Execution Success Models to drive exceptional innovation execution.

In this position, there is an opportunity to collaborate closely with market teams to promote positive ways of working and engagement, requiring flexibility to accommodate meetings with varying time zones, particularly Melbourne and Chicago.

Your responsibilities will include developing strong launch plans for category and territory expansion, working closely with cross-functional teams such as category, sales, and brand marketing. You will also support the sales team in overcoming obstacles to achieving distribution in new territories and retailers.

Your daily tasks will involve integrating customer and territory strategies into brand plans, commercialising new product development including pricing and promotional support, and translating brand and category strategies into plans to achieve budgeted sales, profit, and NPD targets.

You will play a key role in analysing and reviewing business forecasts and key issues in the business planning process, collaborating with account and brand teams to develop contingency and gap closure plans if a shortfall vs. budget is predicted. Additionally, you will aim to improve return on trade investment across territories and conduct thorough budget analysis including risks and opportunities.

  • Front line Sales / Account management experience (Major Mults Sales preferred)
  • Strong P&L understanding
