We are currently recruiting for a well-known local broking group that has a deserved reputation for offering a first-class service. It has shown impressive organic growth over the last couple of years as well as making some strategic acquisitions and is a great place to work for those who wish to progress their career.
They are now looking to bring on board a sales focused and career driven Commercial New Business Account Handler to launch a new department within the business, which will be concentrating on constructions and trades based business with a turnover of £500k Plus. You will be based in the Surrey Office, which is also commutable from north Hampshire areas.
You will be responsible for getting this new area of the business of the ground, which will involve attending trade shows, client visits and extensive amount of prospecting potential new clients within this area.
To be considered for this role, you will need a 3 years plus commercial broking experience, with a background within the construction or trades based arena, and be looking for a genuine opportunity to progress your commercial insurance sales career with a forward-thinking employer.
You will be highly professional with a confident demeanour, as well as being extremely driven and highly ambitious.
You will be rewarded with a very competitive starting base salary of £28-35k, dependant on experience, with bonuses attached to the premiums you bring in from new clients, which can be in the form of a very attractive profit share basis.
