This role, based in the Leeds(LS11) area , is a new one and critical for the further successful development and expansion of a well-established Company providing services to the Construction and related industries. At the core of my client’s success has been the delivery of a particularly high level of quality customer service, therefore it is critical that the person appointed comes from an environment, preferably involved in the provision of hire services, in which this has been given appropriate focus.
The person appointed will hold a wide range of responsibilities including continuing objective assessment of all financial processes, controls and protocols and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and Legal requirements as well as day-to-day overall responsibility for managing all business issues. A critical element of the role involves the Purchase of all supplies, from the establishment of needs through negotiation to the resolving of any issues and concerns arising.
Since sound basic operational knowledge of effective and efficient operational controls will be the key to successful achievement in this role, the person appointed requires to add considerable value through their professionalism, the ability to manage a diverse range of interests and the ability to provide particularly sound guidance, support and advice to those across the business
