Our client, a small but premium confectionery manufacturing business, seek to appoint a Commercial Manager with a broad skillset covering all aspects of business development. This position is based from home and applications are encouraged from any location. The appointed Commercial Manager will be responsible for all commercial relationship with clients (largely self generated and managed, with administrative support) to ensure continued success for the company. Growth to date has been with premium independent retailers alongside some penetration into supermarkets. You will take responsibility for future sales strategy. You must have a background in confectionery sales, manufacturing and distribution.

* Experience of SME manufacturing
* Largely commercially focused: strategically plan for growth with the will and existing contact base to grow the company
* Large account focused, able to place new lines with new retailers to further grow revenue

Commercial Manager - Skills and Abilities - Food / Manufacturing / Distribution / Sweets / Confectionary / Sales Manager / BDM / GM / Business Development Manager

* Strong management skills and previous experience in a senior sales role (Commercial Manager / GM / Sales Manager, etc)
* Prior commercial control of an SME manufacurer. Customer facing contact will be key
* A background in confectionery sales
* Ability to facilitate change and to be hands-on whenever necessary
