Commercial Manager - Off Site Programmes

We currently seek an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the Commercial development of all Bell Off Site Programmes. (driving revenue targets)

Main Responsibilities: -

  • With the Head of Off Site Programmes, set a clear strategic direction for the growth and development of all Off Site Programmes.

  • Agree and deliver strategy and revenue targets for Off Site Programme operations, ensuring the centres provide optimum profitability through budget control, managed costs and income generation initiatives

  • Provide guidance and support to all Bell Off Site Programme Project Managers and Centre Managers, ensuring consistency of working practices and delivery across all Bell programmes in UK and overseas

  • Be an ambassador for Bell developing and maintaining strong relationships with relevant bodies, agents, schools and groups

  • Ensure the provision of information, advice and feedback to prospective clients, students, parents, agents and sponsors.

  • In liaison with Sales and Marketing, gauge client needs and input into any proposals for new programmes, materials, etc.

  • In liaison with Sales and Marketing, manage Off Site programmes efficiently to ensure optimum use of capacity

  • In liaison with HR, ensure the team has the right level of staffing and resources to grow and contract with seasonal requirements

  • In liaison with IT, ensure the team has the right level of technical support and resources to grow and contract with seasonal requirements

  • Ensure that all Off Site Programme Centres continue to achieve the highest levels of student satisfaction, and seek ways to raise the bar further

  • Lead risk management for all Bell Off Site Programmes activity

  • Ensure rigorous incident reporting from all Off Site Programmes, and ensure appropriate follow up action

  • Be on call to give guidance to any of the team

    General: -

  • Actively promote Bell's full range of training services (both in the UK and globally) by maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of Bell products and services and by referring potential prospects to the Sales & Marketing Department.

  • To adhere to all statutory regulations and to Bell policies and procedures.

  • Protect at all times the confidentiality of information handled within the remit of the post;

  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons you are responsible for and come into contact with.

  • To work irregular hours and travel worldwide as required;

  • To undertake any reasonable duties as required.

Person Specification:

  • Good level of Education

  • Highly proficient user of Excel

  • Project Management Experience

  • Commercial management experience

  • A proven record of strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills both verbal and written

  • Able to effectively work with a project team.

  • Operates effectively in a fast paced environment

  • Flexible about working hours and committed to getting the job done

  • Knowledge of EFL Young Learner sector
