Commercial Manager - Housing

We are currently searching for an experienced Commercial Manager, for our client a highly successful housing developer that has experienced steady growth and has established themselves as a leading name in the Residential market. Their projects are all North East based making this a great opportunity for an individual in the area looking for a fantastic opportunity. We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong track record in delivering exceptional projects on time and on budget.

Role duties:

-They are seeking a Candidate that has extensive experience in the residential industry and has proven experience of running large projects.
-You will need to be able to work under pressure, hold your own and feel confident in your abilities to deliver.
-You will be solely responsible for the project from a surveying perspective and expected to report into the Managing Director on a regular basis.
-Increase Trade Contractor Base
-Build & Develop The Team
-Civil Engineering Procurement
-Cost Planning
-Procure New Site Starts
-Monitor & Control Build Costs

To be successful in the role you will possess the following skills and attributes:

-Degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management
-Experience of managing multiple teams within a house builder/housing developer
-Have excellent communication and problem solving skills
-Must be computer literate
-New build housing experience essential
-Excellent project / programme management skills
