Permanent Position

Office based in Odiham, Hampshire

The Company

A well established bespoke Dry Lining Company with 15 years experience in the industry.

Covering all aspects of fitting, floor screed, plastering, rendering and suspended ceilings.

The company turns over a £3-5million per year

Although they are not a huge multinational like Taylor Wimpey, they are more bespoke, usually taking on projects between 10 - 50 flats at a time.

There is currently a QS and a work force in place who complete all the projects.

Location of Projects:

London and surrounding areas within M25, Home Countys, Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey are mainly, although they are willing to branch out.

They have detailed understanding of both old and new builds plus refurbishments. Although New Builds are preferred.

Please note: They will never do anything called "House Bashing"

50% of the annual turn over comes from Screeding

  • Fast Drying
  • Underfloor Heating Systems
  • Smooth Latex Finish

Supply of all membranes, insulation, perimeter expansion, and movement jointing

The Role

Commercial Manager:

Free Lance or Permanent Position for Lead generation and development.

The role can be 2 days a week or full time, but they must come into the office once a week, minimum. Office based in Odiham, Hampshire

Permanent positions are welcomed as there is plenty of space in the office to join the team.

Key attribute: The candidate must be able to generate leads or bring in their own contacts in order to ascertain the correct tenders.

Size of a standard Project: There is a need for a number of Small Projects in the £50k region but there is also a need to generate £500k projects. Usually each year the company would bring in 5 - 10 of these larger scale project in per annum. It is not required to generate these types of leads instantly but they must be able to work up to that level and provide evidence of how they have achieved similar goals in pervious roles.

The role will be assessed on targets: both sales figures and the extent of the projects acquired.

Definition: A Commercial Manager within the construction industry is a professional responsible for financial management of projects, recognizing business opportunities and putting together bids to win new business as well as negotiating and agreeing contracts which can be worth millions of pounds.

The Person

-Over 5 years experience in the industry for Dry lining and lead generation

- Needs to be able to bring their own leads or generation method in order to attract the correct contractors and tenders

-Must have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for the Dry Lining industry
