Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution Paralegal / PA

A unique opportunity has arisen with our highly regarded and reputable client for a Commercial Litigation Paralegal/PA to assist the Head of the Department on a busy caseload.

They deal with a mixed commercial litigation caseload to include:

  • Contractual Disputes
  • Commercial Disputes
  • Professional Negligence
  • High End Property Litigation
  • Corporate Debt Recovery
  • Privy Council Work
  • International Disputes

They are advocacy experts and often appear in the High Court and in the County Court as well as various other Tribunals.


  • Assist the Head of Department and Fee Earners in the Group with effective and high quality support that appropriately meets their requirements
  • Ensure clear and concise record keeping relating to tasks undertaken and correct filing of tasks and supporting materials
  • Collaborate with team members on processes, procedures and solutions
  • Respond appropriately to Fee Earner requirements/needs
  • Actively participate in team meetings
  • Diary management

Person Specification

  • Previous relevant paralegal, assistant or secretary/PA within commercial litigation and dispute resolution is a must
  • Relevant experience in drafting clear concise legal notes and correspondence
  • Experience in liaising with clients and taking witness statements, dealing sensitively and managing difficult conversations
  • Proven ability to communicate accurately, clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing with a wide range of clients and various third parties
  • Proven ability to work in an organised and methodical manner and ability to manage own workload
  • Proven ability to work and contribute in a team environment
  • Good IT skills using a variety of packages to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Case Management System
