This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial/ Key Account Co-ordinator to join our passionate and knowledgeable team at our Cardiff branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a new key account recently acquired by the business. You will work as part of a small team to drive the internal commercial function specifically in relation to the new key account. You will be responsible for all aspects of managing this account including sales, customer service, estimating and order entry functions. The role is instrumental in delivering sales revenue and gross margin targets for the business as well as positively evolving measured customer satisfaction.
What will I be doing in the role?
In the role as Commercial/ Key Account Co-ordinator you will;
Be the main point of contact for our key account (this includes 27 branches) dealing with all of their queries and requests in a timely manner to build a strong relationship
Generate new enquiries and sales opportunities from the key account customer
Represent the voice of the customer within the business; expressing their needs, wants and challenges to enable the branch to respond in the best way possible to maximise customer satisfaction
Manage the entering/processing/progress of customer orders
Own and manage customer issues and facilitate their speedy resolution to ensure maximised customer satisfaction
Understand customer logistics and delivery requirements, the associated challenges and the business’ capabilities and constraints
Provide and follow up on quotations in a timely manner in line with customer needs and expectations
Work with other team members as appropriate to maximise team performance in line with the objectives of the organisation

Customer service experience within a fast-paced, dynamic business and/or key account experience is essential
Experience of building rapport with customers remotely
