Commercial Insurance Haulage Account Handler
Forward thinking Commercial Insurance Broker requires an additional Insurance Account Handler to join their Haulage Department and administer policies on a day to day basis.
You will be the first point of contact for Fleet Insurance customers and will work closely with the Insurance Account Executive and Director to solve any problems that arise.
Day to day work involves negotiating with underwriters, preparing New Business or Renewal Reports, meeting notes and claims statistics, processing and invoicing premiums, updating electronic and paper files and maintaining records on the company system.
This is very much a wheels based role so experience of commercial fleet insurance business is critical. You will be dealing with commercial fleets of up to 50 vehicles paying premiums up to £250,000.
You will need to be prepared to develop your experience further on an ongoing basis through CPD workshops and CII studies (assisted by the company)
As the role develops there may also be scope for customer visits therefore experience in a similar role is vital. Please do not apply if you don't have insurance experience in a similar role.
