Commercial Insurance Account Handler

We are currently recruiting for an Independent Insurance Broker which prides itself on offering its clients a service which is second to none. Specialising in arranging Insurance for Businesses, whether that be a sole-trader or a company employing 100+ staff - utilising the latest technology, they have access to most of the insurance market enabling them to compete with National Insurance Brokers whilst maintaining a personal service.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Commercial Account Handler for their office in Banstead, Surrey, to deal with New Business and Renewals for their commercial clients.

You will be dealing with enquiries coming in daily online and on the telephone, actively cross-selling to an existing database as well as using a prospect lists and actively seeking prospects from your own sources, identifying and developing new business.

As such you will need to be self-motivated and driven to succeed, with at least 1 years’ experience gained in General Insurance Broking, ideally in commercial, although my client will consider strong personal lines insurance professionals.

This role is full time; however, consideration will be given to part time/flexible hours and home working for the right person.

Salary on offer is £20-£24k basic, plus bonus (£360-600 pcm)

Benefits: Company Pension after qualifying period and Mileage Allowance on offer

Hours: 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday.
