Commercial Gas Engineer required for our client, they are a specialist mechanical contractor based in Birmingham. They offer service, maintenance and breakdown contracts to commercial based clientele. They currently require the Commercial Gas Engineer to cover areas such as Birmingham, Coventry and Stafford so it is essential for the Commercial Heating Service Engineer to be based in the North West of England.
The Commercial Gas Service Engineer will be tasked with the service and maintenance of commercial natural gas boilers and appliances. The Commercial Gas Engineer will also be required to be part of a call out rota covering reactive work and will be required to part of a call out rota. The Commercial Gas Engineer will cover sites such as schools, offices, hotels, restaurants and other similar commercial based sites.
The Commercial Gas Engineer will be required to hold in date Commercial ACS Gas Tickets (COCN1, CODNCO1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1 etc) and have passed an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating.
Commercial Gas Engineer Position Overview
The Commercial Gas Engineer will travel throughout the West Midlands, attending commercial sites to service and maintain natural gas boilers and appliances.

- Previous experience in a similar position
- Commercial Gas Tickets - ACS
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating
- Strong fault finding skills set
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in the West Midlands
Commercial Gas Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £27,000 - £36,000
- Company Car (Private use allowed)
- Travel paid after half hour
- Uniform, tools, phone etc.
- 20 days holiday + BH
- Callout 1 in 12
- 3% Pension
- Full package discussed at interview
