A leading national law firm is looking for a Commercial Disputes Managing Associate to join its Commercial Disputes practice in London. The team has a proven track record in litigation, arbitration, mediation and specialist disputes advice and is undoubtedly a leader in its field. With an impressive list of FTSE 250 clients including national and international household names in the financial services, retail, manufacturing, transport and energy sectors among others, they can offer lawyers a truly diverse mix of high quality work.
Your new role
The successful candidate will already have experience in delivering first rate contentious advice, ideally gained at a City or leading regional firm, and will have a proactive attitude to work, a desire to learn and progress and be keen to help further develop the team's client base. Candidates with business development experience that can help the firm to continue developing opportunities are particularly welcome.
What you'll need to succeed
You will require a minimum 2.1 degree from a reputable university, demonstrate a solid track record of commercial litigation, with at least 4-5 years' PQE litigation experience in private practice. You will need to be able to demonstrate commitment to litigation as a legal specialism. You will need to work well in a team and have experience of establishing and maintaining long term client relationships.
