A leading national law firm is seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join their corporate practice team. The firm is ranked a 'Leading Firm' by Chambers & Partners and a 'Top Tier Firm' by Legal 500. Your new role
The firm's Corporate team provides a comprehensive range of legal services, with a particular focus on corporate transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs and buy-ins, and trade sales and disposals. You will also handle company formations, re-organisations and re-structuring, joint ventures, shareholders agreements and investment agreements and offer advice on general company law compliance and corporate governance. This role would suit a Lawyer with approximately 3-6+ years' PQE or equivalent experience of the full range of corporate law issues. However, the right candidate with a different experience profile who meets the requirements of the role will be considered.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be able to demonstrate a solid track record of advising on corporate transactions, experience running transactions with minimal Partner assistance so post qualification experience undertaken in a corporate team is essential. Previous experience of public and private M&A, private equity, capital markets and real estate finance is preferred. You will need to be able to delegate to and supervise more junior members of the team and assist with department training. Experience of establishing and maintaining long term client relationships is also advantageous as the team are looking to expand their practice.
