This specialist procurement company was established in 2012, and has grown exponentially since its foundation. It is now the trusted partner to over 100 public sector organisations. The business requires a Commercial Contracts Paralegal to join its Central London office.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the overall administration and co-ordination of commercial contracts and compliance, alongside responding to legal queries. This can include contractual negotiations and legal compliance. You will be the main point of contact for all contract enquiries within the UK, and will deliver compliant business processes. You will report to a senior executive in the business, with some support from a senior lawyer (based either internally or externally). You will review and negotiate standard commercial agreements including frameworks, supplier agreements, work orders, call-off agreements, and miscellaneous commercial agreements. You will assist with the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures, administration, tracking and contract templates. You will analyse contracts and produce summaries of contractual requirements for internal business awareness and compliance purposes. You will work closely with internal teams including client service managers, marketing and finance to successfully deliver projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You have completed your LLB and ideally your LPC. You are experienced in contract administration (1-2 years' preferably, although other levels of experience will be considered). You possess excellent time management skills, can work under pressure and deliver within tight timescales, and can manage a large stakeholder base.
